Those with severe hair loss have tried countless products to no avail, then they got the Dr. Pen M8S. After two months of use, hair loss decreased. By the fourth month, fine hairs started to grow, and their hair gradually became thicker. It's extremely convenient as it can be used both when charged and plugged in. Although it takes some time, it's definitely worth it. People struggling with hair loss, go for it!

I have been researching micro-needling for some time and was so excited when this Dr. Pen Ultima M8 Microneedling Pen Professional Kit crossed my path. It was the exact one I wanted! It is a well-known brand and they have some short videos on YT showing how to use it. I have always used a Derma roller on my face, but started to feel that it was too aggressive quite a while back, so I stopped. This Dr. Pen Ultima M8 kit comes well packaged, with all of the needle cartridges individually wrapped and sanitary. This brand has been around a very long time and there is much to be learned from them. They have a great website, a number to call to speak with someone if you have any questions or concerns. It comes with a small instruction manual with the basic information and important information on needle depths and speeds for most needs. I found videos helped fill in the gaps, and gave me a feel of what to expect by seeing and hearing others' experiences. Dr Pen has a great YT channel, but I've learned a lot from watching PENN.SMITH.SKINCARE on YT, as well. I started with a fairly low setting for my first try, and it went well. To me, it is much easier and less painful than dermarolling. You have much more control, as the machine really does all of the work very quickly. I did not overdo it, just to see how my skin reacts over the next several days. I used a fairly simple hyaluronic acid serum while micro-needling, waited an hour, rinsed my face very well with just water, and reapplied the serum. I did not put anything else on my face for 24 hours. I had some redness and a bit of heat, but nothing like with Derma rolling. It was pretty much gone by the next day. I really like this micro-needling pen! It's very easy to use, it comes with most everything you need, and it would make a perfect gift for someone seeking their very first one. I would absolutely recommend it!

I have tried a number of micro-needling devices and in my opinion the Dr. Pen M8 is one of if not the best. It’s very easy to use and the controls allow you to adjust the speed etc. This kit comes with several needles cartridges. The lower the number the more intense the procedure. So lower number needles are better for scarring and other skin issues. That said, I would suggest watching videos and reading literature on how to do it and going slow when starting micro-needling as the kit does not come with detailed instructions. There are marked variations on price on this unit depending on where you buy it, so it’s a good idea to comparison shop. The Dr. Pen M8 is not cheap, but if you have good results from it, it’s well worth it.

Dr. Pen is the Gold Standard when it comes to microneedling your skin. A very good and trusted skincare product. As long as you keep it clean and use it as directed, you will be fine. It's safe and well made. You can feel the weightiness in your hand when you pick this up. Both speeds and intensity can be adjusted. Use with your favorite skincare products for a much deeper application. Plus the needling itself will help with circulation and exercise the skin to make it a bit firmer. Just make sure that you click on the coupon on the product page or you will be overpaying. (Based on today's price and offers.)

This is a great microneedling derma pen. It has a solid build and quality feel to it. It is comfortable to hold and easy to use. The adjustment barrel has a gradual, tactile feel to it, and a stepless depth range from 0 to 2.5 mm. The 6 speed settings are handy for finetuning on different parts of the face. The derma pen runs smoothly and quietly. It uses a bayonet mount system for the microneedle cartridges. It comes with three 12-pin and three 36-pin cartridges. They are well-made and factory sealed in individual sterile packages. It also comes with a plastic organizer case, USB charging cable and power adapter. Overall, I'm pleased with this derma pen. It is solidly built and easy to use. It comes with 6 cartridges to get you started. You may want to do some research on the appropriate needle depth for different parts of the face and the types of treatment you desire. A numbing cream may also be helpful. Anyway, this works great for me. High adjustability and precision. Good product.

If you’ve never used a microneedling device, watch some videos to help learn how not to irritate the skin. Everyone’s tolerance is different so best not to get overconfident too soon. Try a very small area and then wait a couple of days to be sure you don’t’ have a reaction. The Dr. Pen kit itself is a solid value and generously comes with a great supply of cartridges to get you started. It is well built and nicely packaged for gift giving, too.

This is actually the second micro-needling pen that I've purchased on Amazon and I am really happy with this one. I took it into the woman who does my micro-needling and she was very impressed.. She said the quality is right there with the one that she uses. What i like about this device versus the other I received, is this one has extra cartridges readily available here on Amazon. I don't know if the needle cartridges are one size fits all devices, but I didn't want to take the chance. The one thing I do know is that it is VERY important to use a fresh needle cartridge each time you have a micro-needling session. My technician knows a woman who tried to sterilize her needles and use them a few times to save a couple of bucks. Long story, but she ended up getting MERSA, and nearly died. So, you definitely want to be able to get replacement cartridges! I love this device. I have a significant scar in the middle of my chest from having a cyst removed. I microneeedle once a month and I am definitely seeing a pronounced difference. I am very happy

I’m a newbie too micro needling. I’ve always used a derma roller, But derma rollers can be quite abrasive. My first impression after opening the box was that I felt very intimidated. This was such a professional looking piece of equipment, and I am no professional. After reading the instructions I still didn’t feel confident so I watched a few YouTube videos. YouTube gave me a better understanding on this specific tool. After about three tries I feel comfortable and confident. It works best if used with a light moisturizer. And some sort of cooling agent afterwards like an ice globe or cold massager. Just like anything in this world it took some getting used to, around my 3rd or 4th try I felt a lot more comfortable and confident using it. It has a wide range of depth. I now use it without any thought like second nature. My skin feels a lot more smoother and seems to hold moisture better. Overall I am very happy with this pen and I no longer use my derma roller. After some more research I plan on using to combat hair loss.

After seeing the difference in my friend’s skin after microneedling, I wanted to try it. This pen is the price of one treatment by an aesthetician, so I opted for the pen, so I could do my own unlimited treatments. I have never done microneedling before, so I researched it on YouTube. The pen is very simple to use, just keep it perpendicular to the surface of your skin. Very simple to use, good results after my first use, even better after 2nd use. I’ll continue to use this. The pen itself feels sturdy and has some heft to it. Seems well made. Highly recommend for those interested in microneedling.

Microneedling treatments are expensive for one treatment, but the need for consistent retreatment makes it downright cost prohibitive despite the phenomenal results. As a result, I have invested the cost of 1-2 treatments to buy my own microneedling pen. Dr. Pen is the pinnacle brand of at home microneedling pens and some dermatology and estheticians even use them. The refills are widely available and there are even decent off brand refills that work just as well. The M8 pen is on the higher end of Dr. Pen's offering. It is easy to use, but if you are a newbie (and even if you are not), please read all of the directions. And once you have read all the directions, watch the videos on Dr. Pen's website and YouTube. These videos are going to be your best friend as you get to know your pen and which heads to use for what. The lower the number the thicker the needle for example. You need a "slip" or something that you put on your skin to help the needle glide smoothly over your skin to avoid scratching. You really should not go beyond a .5 for depth as anything more is considered medical needling, etc. These are all things you will learn by good research. The pen itself is great. It is wireless or if you forget to charge it, you can use it plugged into the wall. The depth is adjusted through a dial and the speed through a button and digital LCD screen. I am using my pen for the face and hair regrowth. The results are staggering, but you have to keep with it for 6-8 months for noticeable change. Dedication is key.

What more can I say about this device other than it's a wonderful tool to have in my facial care remedy regimen. There is nothing else out there for the consumer that is better the mess as far as I know. I like the way it feels in my hand it has a great grip. It lasts as long as my session will go. Sometimes I just touch up an area and sometimes I do my entire face. Obviously it's a bit scratchy at first but pain is beauty and vice versa. The videos definitely give you more insight I would recommend watching the videos but overall this thing is easy to use and will change the way you regimen your face therapy routine.

Dr. Pen is a really good brand that makes great quality products. I've used several derma pens created by them. Overall this one is fairly good quality, easy to use, and comes with a lot of replacement heads. It definitely helps your skin to look younger, healthier, and brighter with consistent use. I've had this for about a month now. I have no qualms about this product. Well built for the price point. I like the different variations of needles you can get as well. The only qualm I have is that the slowest speed still seems pretty fast. I would like to see a feature in the future that allows the slowest speed to be significantly lower than what it is right now.
