How does microneedling work?
Microneedling creates tiny micro-channels in the skin. These tiny micro-channels stimulates the skin's healing response, which increases collagen production and elastin.
This new collagen and elastin production forms a new layer of skin tissue that's firmer, and more youthful in appearance. Dr. Pen M8 can be used multi-directionally, so the microneedling treatments can be performed on any area of the face, neck, neckline, stomach, thighs, buttocks, or scalp.

DO NOT USE:
How often should I use my Dr Pen? Microneedling can safely be performed every 4-6 weeks. For collagen induction you will require at least 3 treatments.
Microneedling too often can create more inflammation and pigmentation, and the skin will take even longer to heal. Stick to the instructions that come with your microneedling pen to avoid causing damage.
Hyaluronic acid serums Hyaluronic acid serums are the best and most commonly used type for microneedling because of their hydrating properties. Other great alternatives include peptides, ceramides, and EGF. Just make sure to avoid retinoids, Vitamin C, and other serums that contain acids (AHA, BHA, and lactic acid).
This includes procedures that exfoliate the skin, peels, Morpheus RF Microneedling and lasers. Even introducing new skin care products with different ingredients such as retinoids or acids can cause skin to pimple. The technical term is purging and it is a perfectly normal reaction.
